Academy players ready for IBSF World U/21 Snooker Championships

A number of the PJ Noan Academy of champions members will be competing in next weeks IBSF World Under 21 Snooker Championships in Letterkenny in the Republic Of Ireland.

9 Irish Members including Vincent Muldoon, Jason Devaney, David Cassidy, Sean Conway, Gareth Boyle, Greg Casey, Tony Moore, Stephen Reddington and Daniel O Regan will be in Action.

The eventual world champion will gain a nomination to join the WSA main tour next year.

PJ Coaches Aaron In Malta

Last Week I travelled to Malta to prepare Aaron Busuttil for the IBSF World Under 21 Snooker Championships later on this month in Leterkenny in the Republic Of Ireland.

Aaron is the current Under 19 Malta National Champion and I believe he is a real star of the future for Malta snooker.

Aaron practiced all my routines during his training camp and worked on his cue action and concentration.

His break building score power really improved the longer the camp went on and I was very impressed with his overall commitment.

Devaney qualifies for World Open

Academy Of Champion player Jason Devaney from Crosmolina Snooker Club in County Mayo warmed up for the IBSF World Under 21's later on this month winning the WSA World Open Irish Qualifying event in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club In Carlow.

In the final Jason played another Academy member Josh Boileau from Newbridge CYMS

This Final featured two of the best Junior players in the Country and it was one of the best finals ever played in Carlow.

This a great success story for Junior Snooker In Ireland.

Coaching Analysis Software

New Snooker Video Analysis Coaching Software will now be available to all PJ Nolan Academy of Champion Members this coming season.

This kind of analysis has been used with golf over the last 10 years to help the players fine tune their playing technique.

Nowadays snooker coaching is becoming more high tech and this addition to the Academy is hoped to help the players become more successful.

This professionalism helps the coach in getting his coaching points over to his student more clearly.
